About Me
Jennifer Ganser, LMT, ABCDT, has been passionate about animals since childhood. In 1998 she was in a car accident and prescribed physical therapy for a whiplash injury. Upon discharge she realized it was her calling to become a therapist.
In 2003 she enrolled in Equi-Myo up in North Granby, CT and she certified in canine trigger point myotherapy, a form of manual therapy, based on the work of Bonnie Prudden.
After working with dogs for several years Jennifer enrolled in the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy in Westport, CT to become a licensed massage therapist and she graduated in 2009. She provides clinical, posture-based massage therapy using skills she obtained after training at the Center for Neurosomatic Studies in Clearwater, FL.
In 2011 she enrolled in Post University's Equine Husbandry Program where she learned all the aspects of horse keeping and stable management including in depth training in equine evolution, nutrition, anatomy, health conditions, grooming, housing and fencing, saddle fitting and fly control. She graduated the program in January 2012.
After completing the program at Post she went to Concord, MA to train with Jo-An Wilson and certify in the Wilson-Meagher Method of Massage for horses and dogs. Sessions include gait analysis, soft tissue applications and body conditioning to increase range of motion, improve the condition of soft tissue and improve athletic performance.
Jennifer has always had canine behavior and in 2013 she became a certified dog trainer after graduating from the Animal Behavior College obedience training program.
In 2023 she finished training in Reconstructive Facial massage and certified in the Split Massage Method to naturally improve the esthetics of the face and jawline. She is currently finishing the cranial portion of the course to compliment the soft tissue techniques and help address issues Botox and fillers cannot such as asymmetry in the cranial bones.
When Jennifer isn't geeking out on anatomy human, horse, and hound she enjoys painting, paddle boarding or walking on the beach with her Siberian Husky, Benita.
